The development of explanations of why things work or happen the way they do that help explain competitive advantage has occupied the attention of the management community for the better part of fifty years. A more recent creation, the relational view of success plan of reaching goals has received large amounts of attention. An even more recent proposal proposes an idea of short-lived advantage that effectively turns over much of the existing wisdom.
